The ASEAN-Korea HPC Facility is hosted by Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and developed together with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). It strengthens HPC infrastructure for data utilization, AI and big-data research across the ASEAN region.
Explore the facility's cutting-edge infrastructure, including GPU and NPU systems, high-speed storage, and advanced networking, all designed to support groundbreaking research across the region.
Find quick answers about access, systems and how to get started on the facility.
The facility is open to citizens from ASEAN Member States. Researchers can request an account and receive an initial grant of compute time to begin their work.
Users can run jobs on NVIDIA H200 GPUs, FuriosaAI RNGD NPUs and AMD Turin CPU nodes, supported by high speed parallel storage.
Resources are shared fairly through Service Resource Units. Each new user receives an initial grant of one thousand SRU hours to start their projects.
Researchers connect through the Research and Education Network, with secure access protected by a layered firewall and VPN.
Jobs are managed with the Slurm scheduler and Apptainer containers, giving teams a flexible and reproducible environment for their workloads.
The facility provides multiple petabytes of storage across fast NVMe and HDD tiers, with separate areas for home, applications and scratch data.
